Name Correction In Death Certificate in MCD delhi

Hi , my father in law expired on 16-07-17 in GTB hospital ,Delhi. His name was mentioned wrong . I got it corrected from hospital and submit documents in MCD office sahadra. Now the application status is showing as rejected . Please help how to get it corrected in MCD. As it is needed in all processes.
Please share grounds on which MCD has rejected. File a representation with MCD if they have rejected on arbitrary and illegal grounds. In the event if MCD does not decide or rejects then the same shall be required to be challenged before competent Court
