First you will have to apply for a legal heir certificate from the tehsildar of your Taluk. Then you can apply for your appointment in the same department or you can apply for the GPF in the department.

Hello,

Have you applied for compassionate appointment ever after the death of your husband?

As it is incumbent upon the department to provide you a suitable job if your husband died in harness; you can write representation with this regards to the concerned department whee your husband was working.

If your mother is refusing to sign on the succession certificate and you want that you should get the pension in your account you can file a representation before the authorities and if they fail to decide on your representation then you can approach the High Court.

Regards
