Marriage between 6th cousins sharing same surname and gotra valid?

Hai sir.can u please tell me that me and my sixth cousin sister can get marry legally?we both share same surname.but as far as our knowledge we are sixth cousins and beyond our knowledge greater than that.can u please tell us a way to marry legally?

One would have to look at your family tree to determine that. If you are Hindu's then there is a high probability that such a marriage would not be recognized as it would be one of "prohibited degrees". Such a marriage may be allowed in other religions.
