Made false salary statement to apply home loan how to protect myself

Hi,I have applied home loan with IIFL for 36lacs against the Flat value of 40Lacs tht i have booked and it got rejected due to modification in my bank statement and payslip. I am working as a manager in a corporate company and my salary is 50k and 55k/mnth incl incentive, i have done the modification in the Excel Statement and payslip to 62k as per the suggestion given by one of their employee,Now they have rejected my Loan and threatening me saying that "we are going file a case and you will not be able to apply loan in future any where" and also they are demanding some amt. Pls suggest.

it's your blunder mistake. You shouldn't have done like this. Just request the bank manager and withdraw the submitted documents from the bank.
You have to deal with the manager very cautiously. you can also say that thru., oversight it is happened

Hi
Dont accept to thier demand for payment of money. You expose the person who gave u the idea who happend to be their employee and tell them it is only bcoz of that person u had to change the data.
You can tell them this is thier ploy to get unlawful money from customers.
If nothing works settle for a small amount.

First thing you are not supposed to do it. if at all it is done, deny that you have done it, there are possibility that the agents do such things to get the loans to the parties. stick to this stand, do not budge and pay any amount to the people who is demanding money. they will keep doing it.
