Jow to obtain legal birth certificate for my mother

My mother doesnt not have any birth certificate. She has not gone to school, hence doesnt have any school leaving certificate as well. I want to know how can i get a legal birth certificate in such case.

I need to know where you are from.
You are supposed to apply in the concerned Municipality where she was born. And if they refuse, you need to get a certificate/communication saying that they refuse or are not able to trace the certificate. In that case we will have to approach the Court.

Yes,you can get a legal birth certificate of your mother by appropriate court order for registration of birth certificate. Than after you can registered birth certificate for regisration office i.e. gram panchayat, nagarpalikaoffice, corporation etc..
