How to transfer vehicle in my name which is in my wife's name?

My wife is a central govt. employee. There was a special discount scheme for govt employee to buy vehicle. To avail that discount I bought vehicle in my wife's name. While buying the vehicle we both contributed the amount. Later on she told to refund her contribution giving the cause that she doesn't know driving so the vehicle is no use for me. Immediately i refund the amount to her. Now she is not allowing me to drive that vehicle as she is claiming that she is the owner of the vehicle. She is telliing take legal action and proof your ownership then only I will allow you to drive the vehicle otherwise take action If you drive the vehicle. Please suggest how can I transfer the ownership to my name or any legal order by which I can drive the vehicle. As the vehicle is not running after few months it will be converted to junk and my investment will be of no value. Please guide me what to do.
