How to rectify name in board certificate

I was enrolled in BSEH,Bhiwani in 2005. In 2008 i changed my name ..Board issued me certificates of 10th and 12th with my current name. But my name in all document like Adhar Card,DL,Voter id,PAN even my birth certificate is diffrent ..Now I am facing a lot of trouble in passport making due to this duality in name in certificate of 10th..currently i am doing my masters. I want to go foriegn in pursuit of Phd in Veterinary Pharmacology...University personals are saying if you will rectify this thing from board we also rectify this thing....so respected sir plz suggest me how can I get certificates with rectified name..so that i can apply for passport ..plzz sir consider this case seriously..I am suffering a lot because of this issue...my teachers are saying that you will also suffer while applying for goverment job
Having your details altered in your birth certificate would be next to impossible. At most you could change your name from what has been provided for on your birth certificate.
As far as your board marksheet is concerned, you can approach the board that issued the certificate (for example CBSE) to issue a corrected certificate.
If the board that issued your marksheet is not forthcoming, file a RTI application with them enquiring about the procedure to have the same done.
