Hi. my self Abid khan my mom she is staying in europe. she cannot come to india and she want to sell her flat in india. so she wants to give power to me to sale flat. so what is a process to get a power of attorney in my name.
Dear Abid,
Your mother will have to give a power of attorney in your favour for selling the said flat, she will have to execute the said power of attorney before a local notary and she will have to get the same endorsed by the Indian Consulate in the country where she resides. Thereafter, vide the said power you can sale the said flat and collect the proceeds thereof.
