How to get my named corrected in Marksheets and other documents

30-Mar-2023 (In Documentation Law)
My name in 10th Marks card, Driving licence, banks and Aadhar card is N.GIRISH. In the PAN card and Passport has expanded initial as NAGABHUSHAN GIRISH. (Nagabhushan is my father's name) As the Income-tax department wants to link PAN cards with Aadhar number, I am unable to do so as it shows an error that name in Aadhar and PAN card does not match. Should I change the name entered in Aadhar card to NAGABHUSHAN GIRISH? PAN does not allow initials. It requires only expanded initials.

Yes, you can change your name in Aadhar card by following following simple steps. Firstly, you have to get affidavit of name change and submit same before the First Class Magistrate/ Notary Public/ Oath Commissioner in the District Courts. The next step you have to follow is to get published in the news papers one in vernacular language and other in English language. This is to public declare the change of the name and further third step is to Notifying the Gazette.
