How to get a commercial driver license?

I want to join Ola cabs as a driver. Will I require a separate commercial driving license for it or my normal license will be sufficient?
Yes, you will have to apply for commercial driving license in order to be a registered cab driver. Different states in India have different procedures that are required to be followed, in order to get a driving license but the basic conditions that you need to fulfil are:
- You should obtain a license for private car or non-transport vehicle (since you already have a private license this point does not apply to you).
- You should wait for at least a year to apply for commercial license.
- Minimum qualification for commercial license is 8th standard and you should be able to read and write.
- After 30 days (minimum) you can go for the driving test.
Once you qualify the driving test, a commercial driving license shall be granted to you within a short period of time.
