how to get 1st class magistrate sign

I lost my birth certificate and need a sign on the copy of the certificate from magistrate 1st class.
What is the procedure for the same ?
For what purpose do you need the signature. please clarify the same. i would presume that you are asking it for Passport
Indian passport applicants born before January 26, 1989 who do not have birth certificate for those applicants who were born before January 1, 1989, if they do not have a birth certificate, they can submit:
•A school certificate from a recognized school showing their date of birth etc. or
•In case where applicant did not go to school or went to school for less than 5th class, they can submit a notarized affidavit indicating their place and date of birth.
