How to correct misprinting of name on mark sheets?

My name PURUSHOTTAM. but my high school and intermidiate marksheet name wrongly printed PURSOTTAM. Kindly suggest me how to get it corrected?
Does your birth certificate has your name as PURUSHOTTAM.
If yes then, you should send CBSE letter thereby requesting them to change the name as per the birth certificate.
If they fail then you can file a writ petition thereby requesting them to change the name
