How to correct caste on certificate

Sir, , mistakenly on my L.C. cast was written as -"HINDU -MARWADI TODARWAL" so bcoz of that I am not getting benefits of jain minority, so can I correct it as "JAIN"... Currently i am doing my graduation
You will have to approach the office of Sub-divisional magistrate or the authority which issued you the said certificate, for the correction of the said details in the certificate. you will have to write a letter to them stating your grievances and along with a proof that there is a mistake.
