how can i acquire a birth certificate

I want to issue a Birth Certificate as i have to apply for a passport.My parents weren't able to acquire a birth certificate at the time of my birth and they weren't able to register it in municipality as i was delivered at home.please help me by telling me how can i acquire a birth certificate
Apply for a birth certificate at your concerned municipal office. Since it wasn't registered they'll issue a "Record Not Available" certificate. You have to take this certificate and contact a lawyer. They'll ask you to bring your school passing certifiable, voter ID card etc to prove that your dob is as stated by you. A lawyer will have to file an application in the court and after verification a court order will be issued to issue you a birth certificate.
