Flat in common name is GPA okay if father wants to sell it

09-Jan-2023 (In Documentation Law)
I am having a flat. Flat is in the name of me and my wife. I am planning to give the power of attorney to my father for the purpose of flat registration and renting. Please let me know if GPA is fine for that

yes, you can execute a General Power of Attorney in favour of your father. You can mention a revocation clause or time period in it as precaution for future. You can also have the GPA executed only for flat registration and renting of the property in favour of your father

Yes...You can make either general power of attorney or the special power for the purpose as you mentioned here. If you have only the work of dispossal of the flat it would be go for special power of attorney
