Exchange of govt allotted land procedure to correct the same

Our plot was govt alloted. only allotment letter was given by govt. Our house was constructed in the next plot by mistake and the party has agreed to exchange our land for the same. All eb, tax are in the name of our plot no. Now sales deed are given. what are the legal procedure to make documents in correct plot names.

You need to enter into an agreement to sale first. Agreement for sale is an agreement between parties that on such and such terms the sale would take place. Terms and conditions could be agreed and sale to be completed on agreed future date with payment and then complete the sale by executing sale deed in your favour in order to finalize and secure your sale. This would only take place only when both the parties are mutually agreeing to the terms and conditions.
