i have a property 5500 sft land in my name and my father's brother's wifes name in the ratio 50:50 can she sell her portion with out my consent if it is legal then the next question what are the legal document to be made if we what to put up flats on the property buy putting in the cost of construction and the transfer the flats in individual name 50% in my name and 50% in the aunt and her subsiquent new buyers name including registration i am a laywer my self but my aunt and her subsiquent buyer will not accept documents prepaired by me as they could be to my illegal advantage

can my aunt sell part of property if

She cannot sell the property without your consent as both of you are joint owners of the property and without the consent of the other no body can sell the property in favour of others. You can enter into joint development agreement with their builder and do the deed with your requirements of sharing.
