This question is more of academic in nature without stating the facts. Relinquishing the future right in case of contingency (death of your husband) will require a detailed study of facts, holdings held by him (movable or immovable), (Tangible or intangible), and many other factors. As you may aware you can relinquish a right which is subsisting in the present day. But relinquishing the right that going to accrue on a contingency on a future event can not be made that easy without studying the facts of the case.
