Different date on certificates what can I do

My 10th passing certificate and date of birth certificate have different date of birth ,I want to make passport ,what I have to do.
Dear querist
An affidavit needs to be made stating whichever is your actual bday as the real one
I would suggest filing the passport application first and getting instructions from the passport office

Wrote to the state educational board and ask them to correct it while providing a copy of your birth certificate. Then apply to the passport office for a passport. To be safe also take out a public notification in a newspaper.

You need to get your DOB changed on your 10th class certificate from the relevant authority/board as Birth Certificate is the foremost certificate mentioning the DOB of an individual including the name of the person i.e. your DOB on 10th class certificate should match with DOB in birth certificate.
