Different Date of Birth in documents how to correct

Dear Sir/Madam, I have taken birth in the Mcgann Hospital Shivamogga and as per the Hospital Records my date of birth is 5-9-1987 however, in Matriculation Marks Cards and other documents (PAN Card, DL etc)it is wrongly mentioned as 5-9-1984. I have applied for the necessary details from the Hospital Records which is still in progress. Could you kindly advice, can I get my correct DOB details get updated in marks card and other documents. Should I appeal to court for Court Udates? Kindly advice Regard, Gopi
Yes, it is possible. You need to get a birth certificate from the Municipal authority/Registrar of Birth&Death based on your documents issued by the hospital. Thereafter you will have to apply each agency along with the municipal birth certificate and affidavit as applicable as per the rules of the concerned agency.
