Difference in name on documents will this effect passport application

21-Apr-2023 (In Documentation Law)

Hi, I have issue with my passport. All my certificates since birth to graduation including aadhar card, passport and voter ID says my name as "A-X" ("A" being name and "X" being surname) but my father name is "B-Y" ("B" being name and "Y" being suraname) I have used "Kumar" as surname instead of my actual surname "Y". Will there be any issue regarding this if my company plans to send me abroad for onsite projects. I having surname "X" in all my certificates and my father having surname "Y" ?? Kindly suggest.

You will not face any issue where you do not have your surname as your father. There is no law that states that a son need to have a surname of his father. When on all the documents you have a same name then you will not face any difficulties.
