Correction of mothers name in birth certificate what can be done

Sir i am from mumbai. I applied for birth certificate for my son of 11 months.at cfc operator shows me my name and my sons name with correct spelling but there is correction in my wifes name. Can u tell me how can i get it correct. This spelling mistake is from hospital only. Pls help
You can visit the BMC office of your area and give the application for rectification with requisite proof .They have website and you can check online for further information.Kindly check on http://www.mcgm.gov.in/?guest_user=english.
