Can i become company director at the age of 20 year and form contract?

CAN I BECOME Company director at age 20 Can i get in legal contract ? Can i open sole proprietorship company? Or private limited company?

Yes, you are a major and you may enter into contracts and incorporate a company as well. There is no such this as a "Sole Proprietorship Company" and I think you are referring to a "One Person Company". You will first have to apply for a Digital Signature Certificate and your Director Identification Number.

Then you need to file a Form - INC 1 to check whether the name you have proposed to give your company can be used. The you need to proceed with the other form filings and there are several stages involved. Have a look at the MCA website for further information.

Yes you can. You have to be a major to enter into a contract. 18 years is the age of majority in such cases. Furthermore since you are eligible to enter into a contract, you are at your sweet will to open any kind of business, sole proprietorship, partnership, LLP or a pvt. ltd. company as and when you want.
