Can any problem arise if wrongfully mentioned category in govt job?

Sir, I hv mistakenly appiled for rural quota for gvt job and I got selected in women quota, verification is also over there was no problem at that time. In future any problem is happens? If yes plss gv how to solve this problem.
There may be a problem if you have availed some benefits with your wrong caste or category. However you can give an affidavit for the change of your category. You can also mention the reason for the wrong mention of the category and apologize for the same.
