I did a spelling mistake in address when filling a certain application form. If this can be erect by affidavit or not?

It depends on the type of application form. As it is not clear as to what the form is, an affidavit is subject to acceptance by the authority to whom you have submitted the application to. Otherwise it is advisable to contact the relevant authority and have the same rectified as per their accepted procedure

Yes this can be corrected by an affidavit. The affidavit must state the details of your address and also the details of wrong address in form filled by you . The affidavit then has to be notarized by the notary and also signed by you
