Bron in India but stayed in foreign after that want birthcertificate

05-Feb-2023 (In Documentation Law)

I was born in India in 1990, home birth; but my father passed away when I was 1 year old and my mother took me to foreign country (she was not from India) so they did not get me a birth certificate.I returned to India when I was 15, and I studied my tenth and 12th and I'm settled in India since then on "student visa".I have my AADHAR card, driving license, marks card.I want to get my Indian passport and give away my foreign one. I feel India is my home. But I have no docs from my dad and I have no birthcertificate. How do I go about getting my passport?plz help.

Ans: first check where you have born and make inquiry whether your birth has been registered.

If not registered, get an endorsement from the Registrar of Births and Deaths, stating that your birth has not been registered.

then with the said endorsement need to approach the court and get the birth certificate and thereafter need to apply Indian Passport
