birth certificate has no name on it

I am born in Nagpur in 1979, house birth and my birth certificate has no name. how can I get my name entered in my birth certicate legally?

Please go ahead with the declaration on plain paper signed by your father or mother mentioning your name, as per the proforma given by the RPO website. If need be, you may carry your school certificates where your name, as you want it to be written in your PP, is mentioned, as proof. That’s all. Affidavits and GO’s attestations are dispensed with these days by the RPOs and many other government offices, much to the relief of applicants like you and scores of others.
