For now I think you ought to file a petition for restitution of conjugal rights. Please also keep in mind that nobody can force you to cooperate with the proceedings filed by your wife. You can easily oppose them.

hello,
first of all, try to amicably resolve the dispute with your wife. If the situation does not improve, then you should file a petition under Restitution of Conjugal Rights in the Court wherein you should claim that your wife should be return to your house as the rationale behind the petition under restitution of conjugal rights is that you want your wife to get back to her matrimonial home and perform all the duties of the wife under the Hindu marriage act.
Secondly, you can also initiate a FIR against your inlaws on the ground of kidnapping your wife.

If your in-laws not letting you to talk to your wife, the first legal remedy available with you is to file a Section 9, Petition for restitution of conjugal rights, Since you have not provided the other details, no other suggestion can be sent to you at this stage. Section 9, provides a platform to bring both of you together ni the presence of the court and always a bonafide step from the husband side, to settle down the issues as the Court looks at from the soft corner.

No one can divorce his or her spouse without proper reason. If she wants divorce from you, she has to approach the court with some reasonable cause. Court cannot dissolve the marriage only on the basis of one application. Have you received any legal notice in this regard? If yes. Talk to her personally and try to convince her and if she is adamant, fight for your right. Don't worry. All the best.
