you can contest the case and go for mediation if you do not want to divorce, she will have to prove the allegations which she has leveled against you. If she is seeking a divorce without any sufficient cause then she cannot ask for money, that means that she is doing this to extract more and more money from you.

They can extort money from you. Even if they go to court, they won't have any solid grounds and they would not really go to the court. You can tell them that you shall file a criminal case of extortion against them. Rest you can contact me to discuss further.

Your wife cannot get divorce unless she has a ground under Hindu marriage act like desertion for at least two years or cruelty or any other ground enumerated in the act. You need not pay rs 35 lacs at the most she can claim maintenance allowance and that too if you are found by the court neglecting her.

Sir , my advice is let them go to court and file for divorce.. Getting divorce is not so easy and generally takes a long period.. If u r not willing to give her divorce let them approach the court and fight for contested divorce .. There is no need to give 35 lakh as you want to stay wid her

if u dont want to give them a huge sum of amount then, no need to give them a huge amount and let them file the false cases, if u r right then u will get justice and always keep records/proofs of thier demands either via phone or chat.
