Wife treating me with cruelty is this a ground for divorce

My wife don't agreed to live with my family. Her family threatened me.beaten me.she also went with them to her father's home.now we are separate for 1 year ago.What are the grounds for divorce
What else ground you need man ? These are enough grounds. Proceed for divorce if you do not want to remain with her. But I would suggest, give your relationship another chance. Breaking is easy. Do think again.

Wife's conduct apart from acts of physical violence and amounting to humiliating you in the presence of family members and friends, denying you access to physical relationship, visiting her parent's family off and on against your wishes, disobedience etc. being dangerous to your life, limb or health, would be sufficient grounds for you to seek divorce.
