Wife threatening me to commit suicide what legal step should I take

I got engaged to a girl recently but after engagement girls family is more demanding. I didnt like the way they talk. So I stopped talking to that girl. I told that girl also that I didnt like their family and her behavior. Now she s threatening me that she will commit suicide.I am afraid if she does something. I want to know what will happen if the girls.family files FIR..
Please give me ur advise on this
As the marriage has not been solemnised between you and her there is no marital bondage between you and her.
If she keeps issuing suicidal threats, at one stage ask her to go ahead and even if she is committing suicide, dont be moved, because it is her fault that she has has taken this drastic decision, you cannot be held responsible for this, even if her father files FIR, just dont be worried about it because it cannot be maintainable especially for the reason that you would like to cancel the proposed marriage owing to the reasons that makes you unwilling to proceed with the proposal.
