Wife filed transfer petition in SC if transferred do we need to appear

my brother has filed a case for divorce in siliguri court. respondents are belonging to assam . they appeal in supreme court for case transfer in their home town . can this case will transfer to their home town . if yes then what we can do? our presence is compulsory at their or not? if we can not attend their then what will it effect on our case? and how much time the respondents have to file the documents in supreme court from the hearing date?

the case may be transferred to their home town, more so as the wife can easily plead difficulty in contesting the proceeding at silliguri. notice will be issued to your brother in any case, so please contest the transfer petition in the supreme court, otherwise they will get the case transferred without objection... time is not an issue, the notice from the court is important as to letting you know about the next date fixed
