Wife filed maintenance case now threatening to file case u/s 498A

Dear Sir, Following are the case against me 1. 125 Maintenance : interim order passed for alimony rs 10,000(demand was of 40 thousand monthly). 2. DV Case Due. Duration of above case is almost 3 year I may fear of 498 as well because they have given threat of this to my relative please advice for protection.

There is no automatic arrest in 498A.
Police will enquire into the matter first and after satisfactory case, arrest will be initiated.
