Wife demanding more money than i earn for maintenance what to do.

My wife has filed a divorce on the ground of cruelty,our marriage was under hindu marriage act,she is demanding 40 thousand one time alimony and 15000 per month,i just earn 5000 per month,but she mentioned that i earn more then 40 thousand per month,so she will need to prove it or not?as she is earning 6thousand per month will i still have to pay her?Please help me experts,
Alimony and maintenance depend upon case to case and representation of case before the court.....Did she go for FIR in the local police thana against this matter....how much is your property and other immovable assets nature of job..everything will have to be evaluated...
