Wife complaints against Husband in Police Station

Dear All, If an abusive wife approaches Police station, what is the next taken by the police and what are the precautions to be taken by the Husband to avoid all the police station stuff and just wants to fight in the court. Are the police station and CAW cell different? What type of evidences do they collect from husbands side as per the wife's complaint. Thanks in advance.
Of late police cannot arrest the husband till they comply with the 9 point check list. The husband should apply for anticipatory bail and also file a quash petition in the court to establish his innocence. All evidences ( "call records, mails, what's app chats are admissible in court if they are untampered). CAW is women police station set up to protect women. Don't even think of going to police station without consulting a lawyer as police can file false cases and send you to jail for 30 days.
