Whether pictures uploaded on social media taken as evidence in court

07-Jul-2023 (In Divorce Law)
If husband is denying in front of the court that he has no connection with his family just to save them and same thing is his family saying, so his wife will not get financial gain from his parents property? But the fact is he is living with them N showing pics of buying car, bike,AC on the Facebook. My question is will these pics can become a strong evidence in the court that this cunning person is not only living with his family as well as buying expensive luxury items 4 them and uploading pics of that on social media just to make his wife jealous bt in court denying this including his family

It is not too critical to prove digital media. It is valuable as hard copy of any documents.

And it is also not necessary that he have good words / relation with his family or parents. Whether they have good relation or not you can demand your share in his and his family property.

Social media photos can be treated as evidence if proven properly under the Indian evidence Act. However even if you will prove photos, it will not indicate that, he has purchased expensive things from his pockets. And making someone jealouse isn't a crime.

dear

The Information Technology Act and the Indian Evidence Act deal with the electronic form of media submissive as an evidence. The act definitely allows you to use social media and the information put forth as an evidence whilst trial is going. If annexed as an evidence, and in case of denial from the opponents, it will for the opponents to prove that such evidence is fabricated.

Conclusion: You may use the social media pics as evidence.
