What will happen if my wife files a false case against me & my mother

I,m from Chennai and got married (arranged) on Feb 2014 and have a 10 month old son. My wife is a housewife. She is hiding valuable items at home and accusing me and my mother of stealing it. She also claims I have an extramarital affair which isn’t true. She doesn't respect me and my mother and uses extremely abusive language. She has been taken to her father's house for about a week now. They are calling my extended family members and shouting at them. I'm not financially sound at this point due to my drinking habit which may go against me. This habit is mainly because of her torture. I work in a respectable company with good credibility. I would like to know what will happen if they file any false case against me and my mother. I’m concerned about my career and as a middle class family with no father, I can’t afford to face police cases etc. with an aged mother. My only fault is the drinking habit which I’m ready to get rid of. Please advise how to deal with this situation.
