What legal action can i take if my husband takes drugs and abuses me.

My husband is drug addict before merriage none of his family tell us. He had a divorce before we get married.they demands money from my parents. They taken all my jewellery within a month.i complaint about dowry and give proof about his drugs.he filed divorce case and false alligation.complaint is not solved yet. Its in police station.my parents spent almost 40lacs on my marriage.his sister is facing divorce case too.I was doing work like a servant, they never buy anything for me after merriage even taken my all money that my reltives given to me.he usually abuse me physically.my parents were given money for their electricity too for many time.now i dont want to live with me.now my parents are not in condition to support financially to me. should i lodge FIR against them? What should i do now? Please give advise....i am so stressed.

You can file a divorce against your husband on the ground of concealment of fact that the husband is drug addict and cruelty caused to you or u can also lodge an FIR under for cheating ,fraud and cruelty under section 415, 506 , 498-A . IPC. I thing u are done with this relation or you want to teach a lesson to whom u caused you mental agony and pain , you can opt for the above said remedies.

You please lodge fir against your husband and his parents under sec 406 ,498-a ipc .you can even file domestic violence case against them .even you can file maintenance case.is your husband has taken divorce from earlier wife from court.pl clear this issue also.

you can file dowry case if they demand dowry and you can also file domestic violence case and you can also claim maintenance. need not to worry , you can file police complaint and you may file case in court.

You should lodge fir against them under dowry with menton all marriage expenses.Secondly u can file a case of domestic violence act against ur husband and in laws family mention drug addict before marriage ,like abuse me etc
