what is the procedure for filing for divorce

Hi, I got married in 2007 and now have two kids but wife is very aggressive and always fight with my parerents and me. The situation is so bad that some time we are worried that she will do something and blame us . She threats us that she will sucide or do sonething and blame us. Also she is very much physical with me and abuses us sometime throw something on me. Pls advise if i can get divorce

U have an option to file a divorce case against her on basis of cruelty before the family court and logged a police complaint for protection of urself and ur parents,...,

facts are not clear in your question. you have not mention your religion in your query. yes you can get divorce on basis of mental and physical cruelty if you are hindu under section of hindu marriage act section 13 (1) (ia).
(1) Any marriage solemnized, whether before or after the commencement of this Act, may, on a petition presented by either the husband or the wife, be dissolved by a decree of divorce on the ground that the other party-
(ia) has, after the solemnization of the marriage, treated the petitioner with cruelty

You have not given any details of your marriage, so just to inform the basic , if both Hindus and if your wife is also agreeable to the divorce then you can file for Mutual Consent Dovorce and will be granted in six months after filing. Otherwise onesided divorce petition will have to be filed.

Dear client u have to file divorce on grounds like cruelty desertion adultery as mentioned in Hindu marriage act as per yr case. For filing divorce one year completion of marriage is compulsory. For any legal help call me

you can file divorce petition under the divorce act and Hindu Marriage Act before family court or district court. your wife prostitution living so court are not given maintenance order pass under domestic violence act.
