What is the procedure for divorce for a person staying abroad

I am a roman catholic how can I proceed with the divorce since I live abroard.
you need to give power of attorney to your relative, friend and through your power of attorney you can file the divorce case against your wife. later on at the time evidence, you need to come to India. First you need give all the instructions as regards your matrimonial story to your advocate and your advocate will prepare draft petition and after your concurrence for the same your advocate will file case through POA

jurisdiction in divorce case is genrally the place where marriage was performed or where any of the parties reside. In ur case it will be place of ur marriage or the place where ur wife resides (if she resides in india)

If your wife is in India and she also wants to get divorce with you then you can go for mutual divorce under Indian divorce act by filing mutual divorce petition in India whereas cooling period is 6 months hence 2 times you will have to visit India and divorce will be completed...
