Want to separate from wife without mutual consent
01-Aug-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hello.. I tried to go the mutual consent way but my husband and his family are not cooperating. There have been incidences of cruelty and could have been more if I didn't leave their house on time. They are holding my streedhan, cloths and many other personal belongings. I preferred to go the smooth way but their behaviour is forcing me to apply for cruelty based divorce. Will it be more time consuming for me? Will it stretch longer and get more expensive? I want my rights and justice. Please help. Thank you!
