it is a fit case to file domestic violence against son in law and even you can file litigation for injunction and take stay order gainst him.

he cannot dictate terms and stops you for meeting any one of your choice.

he is saying he will commit suicide is also of no value as it is a matter on investigation of police that whether the suicide was actually due to said reason.

you should be scared in any way and take adequate steps to teach your son in law a lesson by knocking the doors of justice

Make a complaint in women cell giving all details of harassment and domestic violence. Also tell that how that boy, ur son-in-law is threatening ur daughter by committing suicide. You can also file a complaint with the SHO or police of that area where your daughter is staying. Do take a copy of all complaints made. Take police help to bring your daughter to your home. file a case for domestic violence and dowry harassment if required. You can also file petition for divorce.
