Sister's DV case but advocate is not giving proper advice

i want to know about act. actually my sister having a problem with family issue our case in running in rajkot. i have a doubt that my advocate did't give me proper service and he hidden something from me. i want to know procedure about that.
Procedure is that you have to file complaint before the protection officer who will record statement and submit his report before the court and if court is satisfied, it will issue summons to the opponents named in the complaint and thereafter procedure is as usual as in summary trials
