Separated from husband can I give my name to my child

My child id 2.5 yrs old the day he is born is living only with me we both are separted from his father now he has put divorce file on me. We are doing in mutual divorce. I wanted my baby name to be on my name not his. My name was not changed after my marriage, so i want his surname should be of mine. Please suggest us for this
