where u have filed this petition?? ur male or female??? when ur marrige has been done ?? after filed the marriage petition court do issue notice to respondent then he or she when receive court summons or notice then he bind to appear in the court and give vakili patra and also give say of ur petition.... now ur stage is that he appear and filed say to petition....

yes u have to wait for six months and then submit your affidavit in evidence and then a mutual decree of divorce will be granted these dates are given for a possibility of amicable setllement during this period
