Procedure for Divorce and its impact on Spouse's Visa

Hello,. I have some question regarding visa. My husbund has got visa of canada for 8 years on the basis of marrige certificate. Now,after getting visa he is tourchering me alot. I think he has cheated me for visa. Nd,we r going to get divorce. Will it be afftected on his visa?
Once visa have done now if u give divorce also than also his visa is not going to cancel so u have to wait for 8 years. As y can file a case or else u can go for crim case and once criminal case is done his visa can be cancelled.
