14-Jan-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I was working in reputed organization in 2014. Then I had to left the job because of my marriage. Because my wife threatened me if I called off marriage with her, she will commit suicide. Then I came to their place. Her parents arranged our wedding without informing my family. In registry time also no one was present as witness. she is staying with her parent & I also stay with her family forcefully. I want divorce from her. we have 2 month girl child. Could you suggest how can get out from this situation

Given a situation you are in, we have a number of solutions. However it is extremely necessary for us to look at the complete facts before us and then arrive at a decision. What I believe is that your marriage can be annulled on first ground only but it is important that we discuss other aspects as well before concluding anything.

See you mixed two query together. First part is what action your wife may initiate against you. See allegations needs to be proved. Mere putting allegations is not sufficient. For example if they file false case of dowry that is not possible in your case as it was almost love marriage. More over there is provisions of mediation before any start of proceedings. Second part is regarding your divorce . you have to give reason why you want divorce & that should be a ground mentioned in marriage act . .mind you again you have to prove that ground or u may proceed mutually if both of you agree. For more information & help u may call me
