my wife is blackmailing that she files a dowry harassment case which is absolutely false as i married her without taking a single penny the only problem with them is i dint help her parents financially to clear their debts she started to get down to such acts and i got to know she was married earlier to someone but i dont have proofs for that they are harassing our family mentally how can we overcome this
Sir in this case the best thing you can do is to file a case for divorce on the ground of mental cruelty, further threatening the husband and in laws that she will file falsedowry harassment cases is mental cruelty, further if she files after you applying for divorce it will not hold water and then you can go for mutual consent divorce by compromise or proceed with the case already filed by you.
