matrimonial dispute, wife not ready to live with me & threatening 498a

My wife left me without any reasonable cause now she is living at her parents home since 7 months and don't want to come back to my home. this is happening due to her mother who is playing a role in damaging the relationship & misunderstanding growing to us, so she is not ready for any settlement. we are hindu by religion.i have never been cruel to her in any manner. so plz suggest me what should i do to avoid divorce as well as low maintenance. can i apply counselling before divorce ? and how to avoid false cases ?
First you serve a legal notice through a competent lawyer asking your wife to come back to your place. If, she does not turn up then you may prefer a suit for Restitution of conjugal rights. Consult with a lawyer for appropriate advice for you because, answer may be varied in case to case.

Urgently file a suit u/s 9 of the Hindu marriage act for restitution of conjugal rights, i.e. asking an order from the court to pursue wife to live with her husband again. This way, if it's proved before the court that your wife is not willing to cohabit with you, then she will face trouble making a false case against you.
