Married 2 year back and never stayed with now husband want to divorce

I was married 1.5 years back in Arya samaj mandir. Now the boys parents are not agreeing for the marriage and i have never stayed with them and they have sent us a divorce notice. Now can't i stay with him? I don't want to divorce him.
If he marriage was solemnized in arya samaj mandir, then it is a legal one. And if u dnt want to give him a divorce, then no one can force u to do so. The question is whether the marriage has been consummated or not.

No Problem in it you can said in the court that you are not interested in the Divorce with your husband so that you are not liable to be interested to get divorce to your husband, and above all you are not get divorced by the court because court want most the time husband wife live together.

Hello if you are living away for a period of 2 years continue from your husband then its a ground of divorce. As you mentioned that you are living away since 1.5 years then its not a ground of divorce. You may appear before the court and tell the valid reason of staying away. You may refuse for the divorce.
